How to Know When You Are Ready for Your UCAT

You may never feel completely ready for the UCAT.

That is normal.

Readiness is better judged by behaviour than feelings.

You should understand all four sections. You should have practised under realistic timing. You should know your main weaknesses and how you handle difficult questions.

UCAT Overview

Your mock results do not need to be identical every time, but they should give you a reasonably stable picture of your performance.

You should also be able to recover after a mistake instead of letting one question ruin the rest of the section.

Another sign is that your review notes contain fewer basic misunderstandings and more small refinements.

Feeling nervous does not mean you are unready.

If your skills are consistent and your strategy is familiar, you are probably more prepared than you feel.
