How to Prepare for the UCAT With Only One Hour a Day

One focused hour a day can be enough to make strong UCAT progress if you use it well.

The key is avoiding wasted time.

A simple one-hour session might look like this:

  • 10 minutes reviewing a previous mistake
  • 30 minutes targeted question practice
  • 15 minutes reviewing answers
  • 5 minutes noting what to work on next

You can rotate sections across the week.

Putting It Into Practice

For example, Monday could be VR, Tuesday DM, Wednesday QR, Thursday SJT and Friday mixed practice.

As your test gets closer, some one-hour sessions can become timed section practice.

Do not spend the whole hour watching strategy videos. Learning matters, but you need to apply it.

An hour of focused work is more valuable than three distracted hours.

If one hour is what you genuinely have, use it consistently and make every session specific.
