How to Revise for UCAT Quantitative Reasoning in 30 Minutes a Day

A short daily QR routine can be very effective because the section relies on a small group of repeatable skills.

Start with five minutes of mental maths or basic skills. Practise percentages, fractions, ratios or unit conversions.

Then spend fifteen minutes on UCAT-style questions using that skill.

Use five minutes to review mistakes.

Finish with five minutes of timed calculation practice or chart reading.

Rotate topics across the week.

Do not spend every session on your favourite topic. The routine works best when it targets weakness.

Over time, the same calculations start to feel automatic. That is exactly what you want under UCAT time pressure.
