UCAT mock scores can jump around more than students expect.
One day you feel brilliant. Two days later the score drops and you panic.
Some fluctuation is normal.
Different mocks may have different difficulty levels. Your concentration may vary. One set may contain more of your weak question types.
That is why you should judge progress using several results, not one.
Look at your rolling average or general trend.
Also look at section-level performance. Your total may stay similar while one section improves and another drops.
Another useful measure is error quality. Are your mistakes becoming more difficult rather than basic? Are you running out of time less often?
Those are signs of progress even if the headline score moves around.
Do not let one mock rewrite the story of your entire preparation.
Use it as one data point.
