The summer holidays can be an ideal time for UCAT preparation because you may have more flexibility than during school term.
The danger is turning the entire summer into one long revision session.
A better plan is structured but not extreme.
Use several focused days each week for UCAT and keep at least some lighter time for rest, friends and normal life.
A balanced week might include:
- two section-skill days
- one mixed practice day
- one mock or longer timed session
- one review day
The exact pattern can change depending on your test date.

Putting It Into Practice
As the test gets closer, increase the amount of timed work. Earlier in the summer, spend more time learning question types and fixing weak skills.
You should also leave room for bad days. If your plan only works when everything goes perfectly, it is too fragile.
The summer gives you time to build confidence gradually. Use that advantage.
The goal is to arrive at your test date prepared, not exhausted.
